Born on 1/30/1941....

Happy Birthday, Dick Cheney. Without you, this site would not be possible.

CBS has decided to muzzle MoveOn.org . They will not allow the Demomractic organization tpo air an issue ad during the Super Bowl. Yet, last year, they aired ads that suggested that buying drugs was the same thing as supporting and funding terrorism. Is the latter not a political issue ad? Is the latter ad not also controversial?

Is this a violation of our right to free speech and our right to equal access to the public airwaves? Contact CBS and let them know how you feel about censorship. Click on the Feedback link and just type a sentence or two letting them know how you feel.

Update: Move On has this posted to their website:

http://www.moveon.org/cbs/ad/

I encourage you to email that link to any like-minded people who might be motivated to stop censorship before it happens.

John Edwards does not support IDCDY. I am guessing on that since I do not know that for a fact. But, I think it is a pretty safe bet.

Nevertheless, I wanted to publicly support John Edwards' bid for President. If you are a Dean supporter (as I was), then I think now is the time to give your support to Senator Edwards. I had never really heard John Edwards speak, bit once I heard hom speak, I saw that we were looking at a Bill Clinton type figure (without the bad qualities) and someone who could beat Bush handily. Edwards is a raw political talent with electability. Even assuming that Dean could win, I feel that Edwards is better for the left, for the poor, for the middle class, and for every American. I encourage you to contribute money to John Edwards 2004 Presidential Campaign. I contributed only $25.00 and that is all that you have to do too. Actually, you can contribute just 5 bucks (in the other box). You have the power and the responsibility to help change America. So, Do It.

Our sources have revealed this line that was stricken from the State of the Union Address:

"Baseball players and political leaders need to set an example. We must focus on getting professional baseball players off of steroids. And, Dick Cheney needs to stop abusing his heart medication."

Really, are professional baseball players setting a bad example? Is that the reason why Noelle Bush is smoking crack cocaine? Or, is it because her Uncle Dubya set a bad example by being an alcoholic cokehead himself.

Are professional baseball players the reason why Jenna Bush has been busted for underage drinking.....twice?

Hey Dubya, how about before complaining about steroids in professional sports, why don't you start looking in your own backyard at your coke addicted , alcoholic family?

I apologize if this seems like a personal attack or name calling, but George W. Bush is a dumb ass.

And, Dick Cheney is not dead yet.

Finally, The Memory Hole comes through....I have been looking for those "Bush-Hitler" ads everywhere, but no one had a mirror or a copy of the ads. Thank you, Memory Hole.

Just as a point of information, I do not subscribe to the Bush is Hitler rhetoric. But, I will say, Bush's attitudes, policies, and tactics are the closest to those of Hitler than any other American president. Still a far divide between the two of them in terms of absolute evil, but still....

And, Dick Cheney, is, of course, not dead yet.

Dick Cheney walked into the Oval Office yesterday just as Bush was preparing to leave for the "Summit of the Americas". To the Veep's surprise, he saw President Bush with his nose in a book. Bush was reading aloud, "Amo... Amas....Amat".

Cheney, interrupted, "Excuse me, Mr. President, but, may I ask what you are doing?".

Bush replied, "Sure, I'm just brushing up a little since I am meeting with Vincente Fox and those other Latin American leaders."

Whoa! Rimshot, please! And, Dick Cheney is not dead yet.

Quick Recap Of 2003:

1. In 2003, Madonna and Britney Spears shared an open-mouth kiss. Absolutely disgusting....how short it was. Next time, I just hope the kiss lasts a little longer and they use some more tongue.

2. I was wrong about Saddam Hussein. I said that he was dead and that he would show up as such shortly before the 2004 election.

But, the jury is still out on Osama Bin Laden. And, it seems that Madeline Albright seems to subcribe to my theory.

That bizziotch needs to quit byting my style.

3. The terror threat continued in 2003. In late December, several planes from France had to be stopped and searched prior to flying into the United States. Apparently, Al Qaeda had packed the plane with French people.

4. In 2003, My perfect enemy was defeated.

4. And, finally, Dick Cheney.....Dick Cheney, against all odds, survived another year. Congratualtions to him, Lynne, and his lesbian daughter.
