War is Peace.
Freedom is Slavery.
Ignorance is Strength.

George W. Bush vows to end tyranny in his inaugural address.

Yes, George W. Bush, torturer, warmonger, terrorist, enemy of the meek and the poor, friend only to the rich, to the powerful, to the white, and to the men, was inaugurated into his second term today.

I have only two things to say: First, May God have mercy on this country and the souls of all those so-called "Christians" who voted for him. Next time we have an election, I hope these so-called "Christians" will read their bible a little more, and thump their bible less.

And, secondly, Dick Cheney is not dead yet.

But, doctors say that it is just a cold.

Dick Cheney is still not dead yet.

Wednesday, November 03, 2004

So, Bush squeaks out a victory.

I guess you know what this means... 4 more years of IsDickCheneyDeadYet.com!

I hope we all learned some lessons from this election.

And, one more thing... Dick Cheney is not dead yet.

RealClearPolitics.com has a great site detailing all the latest polls from batteleground states.

This site is clearly a little bit on the left (I am not a Democrat, though), so partisan politics aside, please make sure you take the time to vote for the candidate of your choice on Tuesday.

But, if you vote for Bush, then you are an asshole.

Kidding! I tease! I tease!

On a serious note: Here is some video of US pilots targeting and murdering unarmed civilians in Iraq.

On the lighter side: IsBushWired.com . A site that discusses the possibility that Bush was wired during the first debate and was secretly coached by Karl Rove and his coterie. The evidence is mildly convincing: Particularly where Bush says, "Now, let me finish!" when no one (that we could see or hear) was interrupting him.

I would also suggest reading this fine article on Salon.com .

Yahoo! News - Cheney Blunder Lauded Anti-Bush Web Site

Dick Cheney advises viewers to check an anti-Bush site, factcheck.com, instead of the site factcheck.org.

Then, the Veep went on to get another URL wrong when he said, "And anybody who thinks that I am a zombie... who thinks I am really dead, please check out www.IsDickCheneyDeadYet.com. Those folks have all the answers."

Apparently, the VEEP had actually intended to plug the pro-Cheney site, IsDickCheneyDeadYet.ORG. Ouch.

Monday, October 04, 2004

Dick Cheney is not dead yet.

But, he will probably wish he were dead after John Edwards kicks his ass in the debate tomorrow evening.

Friday, September 24, 2004

Two great short videos from iFilm.com:

1. A young Republican kicks a female protester while she is on the ground.

2. George W. Bush stumbles over a question on "sovereignty".

The latter video provides one of the best reasons you have not to vote for Bush in November.: Going beyond all the politics, we have to realize that this man is simply not qualified to be the President of the United States.

Sign-holding bush supporter faked the attack

I saw this photo on Yahoo! News and was wondering about it. Thanks to Anil Dash for pointing out the truth of the matter. Props to Anil for the Krypronite lock thing, too.

And, Dick Cheney is not dead yet.

Errata:

1. The previous update stated that the W. stands for wimp. As a correction, I would like to note that the W. stands for Weak.

2. Dick Cheney is not dead yet.

Tuesday, September 14, 2004

There appears to be some ongoing debate about whether the documents that show that W. (Stands for Wimp) shirked his duty in Vietnam are forgeries.

But, notice that none of the Bush cronies are actually denying that what the documents say is true: Bush was supsended from the National Guard for failure to perform to standards.

The pathetic cries of "Forgery" and the constant whining of the Bush team distract from the real truth of the matter. This Wimp was AWOL and dodged the draft. We all know that is true. They simply can't deny that.

From Yahoo! News: Bush supporter pulls demonstrator's hair. This man seems to be really enjoying abusing this woman.

Real classy. What's next? Stealing candy from babies? Pulling the legs off of ants? Pulling the wings off of flies?

Don't be a Bush supporter.

And, Dick Cheney is not dead yet.

Saturday, September 04, 2004

Rumor has it that 7 is Dick Cheney's lucky number. He plans on introducing legislation to Congress very soon that would bring back the Draft...thus enabling Cheney to dodge the draft for a record setting 7th time.

Dick Cheney is a wimply little girl and very much not dead yet.

Thursday, September 02, 2004

When you listen to Bush's speech tonight. Let's remember what this wimp did when our country was under attack: He sat like a deer in headlights and read "My Pet Goat". If you want a weak, AWOL, draft dodger who is going to make the world more dangerous and a breeding ground for terrorists...Then, by all means vote for George W. Bush.

If you want someone who has the balls and is man enough to really fight and win the war on terrorism (which has nothing to do with the war in Iraq), then vote for John Kerry. Things are really that simple.

And, that wussy Dick Cheney is not dead yet.

If a tree falls in a forest and no one is around to hear it, does it make a sound?

Along these same lines, Do we have freedom of speech if we are denied access to the airwaves, debates, or moved to "freedom of speech zones"? Just Wondering.

And, Dick Cheney is not dead yet.

Dick Cheney: Not Dead. And, no values. After doing business with the Iranian terrorists, it is clear that the only thing this man and his Halliburton cronies value is the dollar. He does not value our security, he values nothing except for greed and green.

Clearly, not dead yet.

Friday, August 20, 2004

No. Dick Cheney is not dead yet.

Thursday, August 12, 2004

Here is a nice news release documenting Dick Cheney's five deferrments from the draft, his DUI arrests, and his links to the Iranian terrorists.

No scruples and not dead yet.

Despite this website's 3+ year existence, we have reached over 100,000 visitors...and the naysayers that thought the site would bow out long before the 2004 election...But, IsDickCheneyDeadYet.com continues to thrive.

Yet, we are still only the number three link for the keywords "Dick Cheney" on google.

So, if you have a blog, or a site, or a page, and you feel generous, please throw up a link to me.

If I get enough links, there might even be a special surprise.

Oh, and Dick Cheney is not dead...yet.

Thursday, July 22, 2004

The Treasury Department has referred its investigation of Halliburton to the Justice Department.

This is not the story of price gouging in Iraq.

No, this is about how while Dick Cheney was at the helm of the company, Halliburton was using one of its tax haven companies based in the Cayman Islands to do business with Iran.  Of course, US law explicitly prohibits doing business with Iran and other sponsors of terrorism. I guess these people will do anything for a buck, even if means generating cash for terrorism and jeapordizing our national security.

My question is: Why isn't this front page news? Do you think someone could someone please ask Dick Cheney about his support of a terrorist regime during the debates? Just because the subsidiary is based in the Cayman Islands does not make it legal to violate US laws. And, it definitely does not mean that Dick Cheney, as CEO, should not have stepped in and stopped the subsidiary from doing business with the terrorists. Do these people have any morals at all?

This Newsweek article pretty much admits that it can not find errors in Michael Moore's F 9/11.

Instead, they argue that the way Moore presents the facts "aren't fair".

Someone should shut these cry babies up by putting a dick in their mouth.

And, Dick Cheney is not dead yet.

Brilliant Right-Wing Critique of Michael Moore

This trenchant criticism essentially calls Moore "fat" a few dozen times.

Why is it that everyone who says Moore's film is "erroneous", this is in spite of the fact that they can not point out any errors? Essentially, people may disagree with Moore on his assertion that Bin Laden's family should have been interviewed before being secretly flown out of the United States. Richard Clarke states that he, personally, approved of the clandestine flights. But, is this an "error" or is this just a difference of opinion? My personal opinion is that every member of Bin Laden's family should have been interviewed by the FBI. The man had just killed 3,000 people, I think it might have been worthwhile to go and ask his family members if they knew where he might be.

Oh, and, ah, Dick Cheney. Still not fucking dead yet.

Quick Statistics:

American Combat Deaths in Iraq: 728 - Roughly 1/3 of the number of lives lost on September 11th.

Number of WMD Found: 0

American Lives Saved From "Iraq Threat": 0

Please bring our troops home. I love America and my fellow Americans who proudly serve our country. We have lost many more American lives by attacking and occupying Iraq rather than if we would have dealt with the Iraq "threat" diplomatically.

Bring the troops home. I do not want to see any more lives lost in this senseless war.

Yahoo News: 17 Year Periodical Cicadas Return

OK. This story is akin to those "World's Oldest Person Dies" stories that I have railed about previously. Seriously, I hear about the 17 year cicadas every damn year . Let's just start calling these things regular cicadas and stop making such a bug deal out of them.

In Tuesday's post, I neglected to mention one important thing: Dick Cheney is not dead (or red) yet.

Tuesday, February 03, 2004

I love these morons and their "Anti-American Celebrity" Lists.

Jennifer Anniston is quoted as saying, "Bush is a Fucking Idiot". And, this is an example of being "Anti-American". In fact, most of the quotes are liberal in nature and simply criticize President Bush.

Rhetoric such as "Anti-American" is only used as a form of thought control and dissent control in authoritarian-style, totalitarian, repressive regimes. In fact, the only other country that ever really had an equivalent term was the Soviet Union. Noam Chomsky states:

That's a natural usage among people with deeply rooted totalitarian instincts, which identify state policy with the society, the people, the culture. In contrast, people with even the slightest concept of democracy treat such notions with ridicule and contempt. Suppose someone in Italy who criticizes Italian state policy were condemned as "anti-Italian." It would be regarded as too ridiculous even to merit laughter. Maybe under Mussolini, but surely not otherwise.

Note to the Right: George W. Bush does not equal America. Those of us on the Left love America and are every bit as Patriotic as you. The reason why we, on the Left, do what we do is out of our love for America. So, please, take your hate-speech and propaganda elsewhere.

Guest Editor BP posts today's update:

I must engage in a bit of a rant. First, I concur with my fellow
IDCDY? editor on his views of fat people. I mean, come on people,
when is enough, enough? Now, when I refer to fat people, I'm not
talking about people that have love handles or beer bellies. I'm
talking people like the subject of this story:

Yesterday, as I'm freezing my ass off waiting for my bus, another
bus pulls up and opens its doors to ready for about 10 passengers.
The first passenger is so fat that she doesn't have cankles, she has
thankles. What I'm saying is that the tops of her legs were about 3
feet in diameter and slightly tapered to 2 feet in diameter around the
ankles, but there was no noticable break at the knees or ankles.
Anyway, she walks up to the bus and just stares up through the door at
the bus driver. Finally, the bus driver gets it and lowers the
hydralic lift to allow the woman to get on. This whole process takes
about 3 minutes and backs up traffic for several city blocks. Again,
people, I ask, "When is enough, enough?"

My next rant takes me on to my bus, once it finally arrived. The bus
is so packed that I have to stand, sandwiched between two more sorry
excuses for human beings. To my right is a 60 something woman with
dyed, strawberry hair. Well, that doesn't sound so bad, except when
you consider that she had a comb-over and wouldn't stop complaining
about the weather. And I don't mean a left to right or right to left
type of comb-over. I'm talkin' about the back of the neck hair combed
over a giant bald spot on top of her head type of comb-over. Next, to
my right is a very large women with a five o'clock shadow that I
haven't seen the likes of since Don Johnson's heyday on Miami Vice.
Again, not so bad. However, this woman kept telling stories to her
friends about how she beats her kids and then follows up with a
commentary on the Super Bowl Halftime show. She states, and I
quote, "Justin Timberlake ain't cute anymore since he cut off his
curly hair. And, I mean, if Christina Aguilera isn't a slut, then I
don't know what one is." Keep in mind, all of these words came out of
a 300 pound mouth that was surrounded by stubble the length of wheat
grass.

This brings me to my last rant. The Janet Jackson boob scandal. If
this were 10-15 years ago, we would all be left to wonder whether her
bood did, indeed, pop out. The camera was so far away when it
happened and the shot only lasted for 2-4 seconds. Before the
internet, the shot would not have been run again. Now that we can all
type up "Janet Jackson Super Bowl Boob" on a Google search, a small
boob shot becomes a world wide mega-scandel. Come on people grow up.
What is this, 6th grade? Dick Cheney was watching the half-time show,
and the boob shot was so short and far away that it didn't even
register on his heart monitor.

As a good friend of mine recently said: "There's gotta be some rules
in this society. I mean, I can't marry a dog, can I?"

Born on 1/30/1941....

Happy Birthday, Dick Cheney. Without you, this site would not be possible.

Thursday, January 29, 2004

CBS has decided to muzzle MoveOn.org . They will not allow the Demomractic organization tpo air an issue ad during the Super Bowl. Yet, last year, they aired ads that suggested that buying drugs was the same thing as supporting and funding terrorism. Is the latter not a political issue ad? Is the latter ad not also controversial?

Is this a violation of our right to free speech and our right to equal access to the public airwaves? Contact CBS and let them know how you feel about censorship. Click on the Feedback link and just type a sentence or two letting them know how you feel.

Update: Move On has this posted to their website:

http://www.moveon.org/cbs/ad/

I encourage you to email that link to any like-minded people who might be motivated to stop censorship before it happens.

John Edwards does not support IDCDY. I am guessing on that since I do not know that for a fact. But, I think it is a pretty safe bet.

Nevertheless, I wanted to publicly support John Edwards' bid for President. If you are a Dean supporter (as I was), then I think now is the time to give your support to Senator Edwards. I had never really heard John Edwards speak, bit once I heard hom speak, I saw that we were looking at a Bill Clinton type figure (without the bad qualities) and someone who could beat Bush handily. Edwards is a raw political talent with electability. Even assuming that Dean could win, I feel that Edwards is better for the left, for the poor, for the middle class, and for every American. I encourage you to contribute money to John Edwards 2004 Presidential Campaign. I contributed only $25.00 and that is all that you have to do too. Actually, you can contribute just 5 bucks (in the other box). You have the power and the responsibility to help change America. So, Do It.

Our sources have revealed this line that was stricken from the State of the Union Address:

"Baseball players and political leaders need to set an example. We must focus on getting professional baseball players off of steroids. And, Dick Cheney needs to stop abusing his heart medication."

Really, are professional baseball players setting a bad example? Is that the reason why Noelle Bush is smoking crack cocaine? Or, is it because her Uncle Dubya set a bad example by being an alcoholic cokehead himself.

Are professional baseball players the reason why Jenna Bush has been busted for underage drinking.....twice?

Hey Dubya, how about before complaining about steroids in professional sports, why don't you start looking in your own backyard at your coke addicted , alcoholic family?

I apologize if this seems like a personal attack or name calling, but George W. Bush is a dumb ass.

And, Dick Cheney is not dead yet.

Wednesday, January 21, 2004

Finally, The Memory Hole comes through....I have been looking for those "Bush-Hitler" ads everywhere, but no one had a mirror or a copy of the ads. Thank you, Memory Hole.

Just as a point of information, I do not subscribe to the Bush is Hitler rhetoric. But, I will say, Bush's attitudes, policies, and tactics are the closest to those of Hitler than any other American president. Still a far divide between the two of them in terms of absolute evil, but still....

And, Dick Cheney, is, of course, not dead yet.

Monday, January 12, 2004

Dick Cheney walked into the Oval Office yesterday just as Bush was preparing to leave for the "Summit of the Americas". To the Veep's surprise, he saw President Bush with his nose in a book. Bush was reading aloud, "Amo... Amas....Amat".

Cheney, interrupted, "Excuse me, Mr. President, but, may I ask what you are doing?".

Bush replied, "Sure, I'm just brushing up a little since I am meeting with Vincente Fox and those other Latin American leaders."

Whoa! Rimshot, please! And, Dick Cheney is not dead yet.

Quick Recap Of 2003:

1. In 2003, Madonna and Britney Spears shared an open-mouth kiss. Absolutely disgusting....how short it was. Next time, I just hope the kiss lasts a little longer and they use some more tongue.

2. I was wrong about Saddam Hussein. I said that he was dead and that he would show up as such shortly before the 2004 election.

But, the jury is still out on Osama Bin Laden. And, it seems that Madeline Albright seems to subcribe to my theory.

That bizziotch needs to quit byting my style.

3. The terror threat continued in 2003. In late December, several planes from France had to be stopped and searched prior to flying into the United States. Apparently, Al Qaeda had packed the plane with French people.

4. In 2003, My perfect enemy was defeated.

4. And, finally, Dick Cheney.....Dick Cheney, against all odds, survived another year. Congratualtions to him, Lynne, and his lesbian daughter.
